50 merc

just bought a50 merc 4 door great body however the engine is shot. i have a flathead i built for a truck was wondering will the water pumps will work or if i need to change them. i know the pan needs to be changed. can use advice. im new to this so any help will be great thanks

Welcome to the HAMB. Mercury water pumps are unique to them. You will need the Merc pumps and the U-shaped adapters on what ever 8BA type motor you put in there.
