Has any body found a more modern yoke for a 1950 Ford differential than the stock flange? A friend has put a 302 into his 50 Ford coupe and would like to go more modern on his drive shaft.

Ujoints would be basic OEM 1310 series? You'd need to remove pinion yoke to check spline and diameters. Eg. A local Ford Borg Warner yoke here fits a Jag IRS enabling a conventional shaft with no flange.

Doubt if there will be a swap and not to make worry but those mechanic [thats what they are style wise] yokes are weak so normal driving only..
