Ok so I am gonna put an S-10 rear end in my 50 Chevy. Welding skills are minimal but it looks if I swap the hangers left to right on both front and back the leafs and perches will just about line up. Could not find anything on the search except for one thread that the pics would not come thru. I can't be the first to think of this, any input would be great before I start tearing this up.

I had custom hangers made that moved the springs in and up. Got 8 inches of drop with those and a set of Posies 3 inch drop springs. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1410067019.502090.jpg

Those pics show the setup before I swapped in the Posies springs. I've got a total of 8 inches of drop with full suspension travel. No bags, no juice.

It could be done with spring perches from a 55-58 Chevy pickup or a Ford F1 or F100 through the late 50's as well.

This is with the springs after I got the body back on. It is at ride height.

The shackles are mid 90's Chevy pickup. They are adjustable.

THE235KID thanks for the response. Gives me a better idea of what I need to do. Rusty, I am swapping the rear which will rub the Jamco drop leafs. The s-10 perches are pretty much where they need to be to clear everything and leave the frame intact. I guess I should have expressed my needs a little better. Not looking to dropp as far as the KID so if you have other ideas I welcome them. Was trying to make what I have in hand work but those adjustable shackles seem to be a good remedy. Thanks again.
