    ****UPDATE****

I heard he is selling more cars than he originally planned. Apparently moving to Tennessee?? To me it looks as if he has only sold a couple cars, so his prices might be a lot more negotiable. Its sad to see these cars out of their barn and out in the weather!!

Well i've kept this place a secret, although there are guys that know about it.. But it's time to let you in on it..

LOCATED IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN area code 53821.

    Here is the basic story:

Guy sells land to big company, he gets rich, travels the whole united states and buys all the cars he can. (mostly pre-war). Stores cars in 3-4 huge barns. Now he wants to sell most of them.

There are probably over 20-30 A Coupes roadsters tudors fordors, 1 vicky, etc

    32 and 3 pickups. only a couple i think

35-36 coupes and sedans...1 three window!! probably about 10 total.

37-40 coupes and sedans one 40 coupe is super immaculate!

Lots of other cars... i cant remember them all

    These numbers are just estimates...

I recommend you come with cash and trailer!

Located across the highway from Cabela's cant miss it!

Let me know when you guys are coming so i can lend a hand...i wish i had some extra $$ so i could buy a couple of these...

**i haven't a clue what he is asking for cars...he has a lot of them though!

In years past he just pulls a car or two out at a time and puts them out by the road...

I drove by Saturday and saw that he had a bunch pulled out... stopped to take pics, and saw on old guy sweeping the cement.. turns out its was the owner of the cars' dad... thats is where i got the information from...

I dont know prices. I'm pretty sure he know what he has, I am working on a phone number right now...hang tight.

I'd come up but without knowing prices I dont know if my checkbook could handle it.

Might have to go to the bank for this one. LINE OF CREDIT!!! lol jk

Keep us up to date man. And you know once you post the Phone Number and everyone calls, this guy is going to get pissed and jack up the prices cause there will be 2000 HAMBers calling him daily, you would think he has bad credit with all the phone calls pouring in.

  19. ...wow, some nice projects there....zip says these are in Prarie Du Chein, Wis.

Talked to the owner today...His name is Joe and has no problem with me giving out his number. Please Pm me for that if you are a serious buyer.

He said he is selling about 50-60 cars, and keeping about that many!

It doesnt sound like he is selling any of his model A coupes or Roadsters.

THE 3 WINDOW WAS SOLD TODAY!

I would act quick if you are serious buyer...sounds like there are some guys from Chicago buying a few cars.

Not sure if he does the intra-net or not?

Good luck! There are a lot of nice projects in those barns!!

...feel free to donate parts or cash to my Model A fund...thanks! :)

Oh ya, let him know that Matt from Phil's body shop sent ya!

The speed of the HAMB is amazing! I was barely home with my new treasure when 31aBoy posted that the '36 3 window was sold today. Yes, it's tucked safely away in my garage tonight! I'd post pictures, but I don't remember how. Could someone help me out?

It's pretty amazing to see almost 40 early cars and trucks packed into an old barn, and there are several other buildings with tin too. Unfortunately most of the best tin isn't for sale, but there are still alot of builders available. His prices are high (at least I thought so) but he is very negotiable. If you're in the area, he's very open to people looking around, and it's a rare experience these days to see that much tin in one place!

Good luck, and have fun! :)

Wow so glad a Hamber got that 3 window! He bought most of theswe cars within the last few years, so he knows what he as and what its worth. Get a www.photobucket.com account and post a few pics in this thread.

  25. Is he around on the weekends? An address? The family and I head down to see Great Grandma in Racine once a month or so and this sounds like a perfect place for me to get out of the car and "stretch my legs" if you know what I mean. ;)

thanks... and thanks for this thread!!!
