I love garage sales!
doooooooooooood that's cool. i freaking love that shit.
garage sales are awesome.
Hey you don't want those old rusty things. Send em to me and I'll send you some shiny ones from HB.
I think we are starting to see the golden days of garage/yard sales right now.
I have never seen so many as the last couple of Saturdays, literally hunders while out driving.
Starting to see a lot of upscale houses having them too, due to high mortgage pmts and a bad economy.
i gotta go to more garage sales, i know the wife would love it!!
Nice, I love garage sales myself. I scored a little wood box full of ream's a couple weekends ago for $5.
You've got some real antique pieces there--they're actually marked "Made in USA!"
Wow! Nice score.
Wanna double your money?
I'd quadruple your money if you want to sell those!
Freaking nice score!
Sorry guys.... I wouldn't feel right gouging you like that. ;-)
Nice find! I gotta start going to some garage sales.
yeah those are the coolest.
How old are they? Nice.
Those look just like the wrenches that I loaned to a cat over buy Buhler !! Funny thing is he Never brought them back >>>>.
Good thing I bought them in Inman or they might have been yours! ;-)
I've no idea how old they are. Figured one of you guys would tell me when you bought your's new.
Good buy !
I love yard & garage sales . I also got some real good buys today too !
Those are cute for sure. I hope they are intended for your collection and that you're not planning on actually using them.
BTW - My old man was a mechanic for many years (old school, could diagnose and repair absolutely anything) and he always swore by the "click" type torque wrenches. He felt like the "free-arm" ones like you found could never be trusted to be accurate.
P.S. Do you know the date of Jay's get-together? He PM'd me and invite, but never let me know when it was happening. I assume you'll have your digger there?
Take care -
wow, cool score !
damn garage sales
That's a pretty cool find. That's the kinda stuff you find at estate sales.
Man! I hate to tell you this but it was last weekend. :-(
We should start a "look what I bought at a garage sale" thread. Didn't someone buy some Ardun heads at a garage sale? I got a $100 68 VW convertible at one and a nice $700 Jeep CJ-5.
Don't know, got mine from my Dad. Nice find Kerry. Must be a Kansas thing.
Nice I'm jealous.
Those don't click. Usually you turn the dial to the setting you want and then pull untill the needle hits the set amount. The ones I had in the high school auto shop that I taught in were govt surplus.
