4x2 Man-A-Fre Manifold Question ?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fuel10922, May 20, 2007.

  1. I have found a Man-A Fre 4x2 manifold. I want to run this with my th350 automatic trans. I am currently running an offy 3X2 with progressive linkage pulling my vacuum from the center carb. My question is which carb should I run my vacuum from, or does it matter? I tried searching past threads, but no luck.

Any of them, the back ones toward the firewall would look cleaner cause the lines more hid.

Can you really get enough vacuum from a Man a Fre to run an automatic trans? They were made for competition.

My understanding of that manifold would be that you'd need to run non-progressive linkage since the balance passages are so small. So I guess you could pull your vaccum from any carb, but as noted, one of the back ones would look better.

  5. Thanks for the input! I appreciate it.
