4spd Lt1

    Have an lt1 but want to ditch the electronic trany, have a m21 4spd trany. Anybody running his combo? Any thoughts or input ladies and gents?

    Your not going to get alot of atta-boys using an LT1, call advance adapters,or source a corvette with an Lt1 and a manual and use it. This site is traditional pre 1964.

    should be able to use a 87-98 style flywheel with an older clutch and bellhousing, and make it work.

    Using an earlier Lakewood might give you some slave mounting options for the clutch linkage that the stock stuff doesn't have. If you have traditonal Z bar setup, it should work better also.
     

  5. What you should ditch is that LT1.

    The Optispark system on those are very troublesome and a real pain in the ass.

    I'm not saying this as a traditional thing, I'm saying this as a practical thing.
