I have a 49 ford 2dr sedan that I'm building into a straight axle drag car. It has the factory pedal and I am running a SBC backed by a muncie from a 65 vett. I have been looking at using a hydraulic clutch set up, but would like to keep it to an all mechanical linkage. Has anybody used this set up and if so how did you set up the clutch. Hydraulic, cable, rods?

I used mechincal linkage on my 50 using the stock pedal.I welded a plate on motor side of the front body mount with a piviot ball lined up to theone on motor, the used the swing arm off the old pedal and cut and made it about 6' inches longer had to play with the adjusting rods some worked great after tuning on it some.
