I bought some Night Prowler lake pipes and mounting brackets for my 49 Ford coupe but having trouble getting them to sit right while mocking up. They are pushed way in under the rockers instead of beside them and hang very low. Any tips on how to mount them? I was going to bolt them through the rocker where the sill plate in the floor is so I have access there. Also what is recommended bolt wise and size? Thanks for any info!
tuck 'em in a bit or passengers will use them as steps when getting in. and, if they're not stainless and you hook them up to your exhaust, mount em so they won't collect water or they'll rust through.
