Have a 49 ford coupe . Having trouble finding a 49/50/51 bench seat. Will a 52/53/54 bench seat work???? are they the same height / width??? or are they compleately different????.

I dont believe they are the same but I’m sure someone will know for sure. If you have deep pockets they do make new frame for them 900 bucks i had to rebuild my frame in my 51 merc if you have something to work with and can tig you could do that. Good luck.

  3. I have a '50 coupe and a '54 Ford and I can assure you there is a big difference in the two. HRP

Best option is to put a "Wanted" ad in the parts section of craigslist or maybe facebook, I have a couple but the shipping would be a killer. Email at [email protected]

Hey guys just m new to the page, and I hope I’m in the right spot, I searched 52-54 fords, if I’m please please help direct me.

anyways I’ve just recently picked up a very clean 53 ford customline fordor sedan. Original flat head v8 still in it but not running. I was originally planning to swap to a fuel injected 302 bit now have decided I’m not going to. I want something a bit bigger. My buddy has a 430ci motor and cruiseOMatic trans for sale from his 63 continental, I going to buy it and try to fit it in the customline, I know it’s a tight fit but has anyone done this before? How involved is it going to be? I’m a certified welder/fabricator so cutting and welding won’t be a problem just trying to get an idea of what I’m in store for.

You will get much better responses if you start your own thread with a title that matches your question.
