So I just repaired and repainted my F1 tailgate, and it's a little plain. Some Pinstriping would liven it up, but with the three panels, I'm having trouble visualizing a scheme that would work. I don't want to go crazy on it, but those 3 panels are raising a blank with me. For reference, I'll try to load a pic of the plain gate, plus a bigger view so you can see the general look. If it were mine I would paint in the Ford script and leave the panels as is.If you must have striping on it,you could always do it like the old Barris built Wild Kat pickup and have two symmetrical smaller versions of the hood stripes on the panels.
Took a bit of the Wild Kat idea but went between the panels rather than in them. Also put a drop shadow on the script rather than blocking it in. Let this dry and then a few small dark red accents and I'll call it done! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
