I'm from Cali, that truck is pretty mainstream.....and it still sits below the scrub line, that's a fucking FACT.

    Take a midol.

Easy, young buck, easy...for that fact, how were we to know that the truck was even yours? You just threw the pic in with the coupe stuff. Chill & show us some pics of the Wayfarer from the side, so we can compare the difference between the old & new. I think it's gonna be pretty cool.

I really like the shape of the Ford backlight/roof section way nicer than the stock stuff, nice job !

I like how you have elongated the transition from the rear deck to the roof. To me the stock ones look almost like they glued the roof on, rather than making it flow.
    Good Luck.

Repetition is key when grammar fails.

Good thing you can chop and drop.

  19. Is it just me or is everyone having to scroll sideways to the max to see pics.
It wasn't too bad till that crap piece of "truck" or whatever nearly made me vomit.
There should be a warning for us old guys.

Steve 720-971-1745 hes parting out a 1949 Chrysler Windsor 4 door
    its still got the tranny

  26. windsor probably has the dual range, automatically shifting type trans. Dodge could have that, or may have regular three speed with fluid coupler.

  27. Thanks anyway guys, has to be out of a Wayfarer. All other models have a longer tailshaft trans. Wayfarer was the only 115" WB car and used a 1 model only trans.

I like the reworked roofline on the coupe, gives it more flow, I look forward to seeing full-on pics of the car with the roof done, should look great, much nicer than stock ones which are kind of awkward IMO.

I'm kind of shocked you were able to find that coupe rear roof section in a junkyard, can't be many of those just laying around in yards to cut up. Was that a '40 Ford? Good idea though.

  29. that's the three speed with fluid coupler--Dodge called it Fluid Drive. It was available in all three models in '50, the Gyromatic was the semi-auto Dodge, and was an option in Meadowbrook and Coronet. I have a Fluid Drive in my (formerly daily driver) Wayfarer, and did have two more--lemme look and see if I still have a spare.
