Technical '49 Chevy Bumper Ideas

My uncle and I started building this truck over 15 years ago. After a long sit on the back burner finaly back on the road sense I last drove it 9 years ago...
now I'm looking into bumper ideas...
Want somthing to fill or complete the gap and more flush than the factory...
Also love dagmars and bullets!
Any inspiration out there?

I'm on it... need some fresh air anyways..

 

without changing grille , not much will look right other than stock bumper.

 

Maybe a ribbed bumper with a louvered filler panel ?
