Customs '49-'51 merc. disc brake install (with drop spindles)

    This is a redo of an old post that fell victim to Photobucket.
    What was done to allow current disc brake conversions to be installed on '49-'51 Merc's
    with dropped spindles.
    The conversion kits are sold by various vendors and the last I know the manufacturer has
    not corrected the problem.

    Thank you. I have dropped uprights and a disc conversion sitting on the shelf waiting on me to get to that part of my build. I wasn't aware of any mismatch problems, so thanks again.
