Can anyone show me a picture of how the spring attaches on a 48 f1 hood release? I have all the parts but cannot figure out how to hook the spring to make the release handle go back after pulling to release hood. (the secondary latch is good just needing some help with the primary latch)
...someone beat me to it, here's a couple shots anyway,...(the crimp'd on piece was put on for the lever to push against...my lever wouldn't quite push enuf on that part to fully open the hood latch....looks like it's moved up, needs to be tap'd back down, mite tack weld it or put in a pop rivet)
Thanks y'all!! Trying to put a hood together after someone else took it apart with no pics or any kind of notes. Still have some spare parts to figure out. Lol
