    Hey All,
I am the wife of 48 Chubby, and I thought I'd post that today, the 4th of July, 2013 at 9 AM my little 48 Chubby Hubby passed away in Murfreesboro, TN.

We recently found out that Jimmy had Stage 4 Renal Cancer that had spread like wild fire thru his chest. This morning, his lungs just gave out.

Jimmy spent a lot of time on here reading, posting and what ever else ya'll do here. He loved all hot rods, and with the help of some of his buddies, I reckon that i'll finish out the truck that I found for him..........everybody needs a hobby!

    Wife of 48 Chubby,

Kathy, I never had the privilage of meeting your husband but from what I read here I'm thinking I would have liked him. Please accept my sincerest condolences for our loss. I think that your goal of finishing his project is a wonderful way of keeping a part of him with you as I suspect if he had been here to finish it himself the two of you would have put many miles and memories driving it together. May he Rest In Peace.

I can't imagine the strength it takes to have to type out such a post. Keeping the truck and finishing it is a good idea. My condolences to you and your family.

I'm sorry for the passing of your husband. I was just reading some of his posts and he seemed like a very knowledgeable hot rodder. The advice he was giving was on the money. He seemed a very caring adn unselfish person, even in his situation he still took time out to help other people with their problems.
