I've had this car for way too long and wanted to chop it from day 1, even took some photos of it and chopped it on paper. Has anyone out there done this chop? The windshield frame appears to be aluminum but I'm not sure and I do not have a TIG welder to glue it back together once I get it cut apart.

The roof on those things is UGLY.
Any chance putting a different one on would work?
Some more work, but it would be worth it!

  7. It would look good chopped, but would look better with a different roof all together

You need to redesign the hole roof to get it a nice look on the car

    Rik, Nice Photoshop chop.

How much did you chop it? Did you leave the rear window stock height?

I was planning 2.5 Inches leaving the rear window height stock. I was also planning to remove the "B" pillar to make it a hardtop.
