These are rear fenders from a 46/47/48 Mercury car; possibly 41/42 also. I had planned to cut the round wheel openings out and use them on the rear of Clarence (see avatar). Unfortunately for me, the contour just wasn't close enough so the plan got scrapped. Someone with talent and time could save these for use on a car, but as the pix show there are some rust issues. The rust and damage issues are confined to the bottom few inches of the fenders; from there up they are actually in pretty good shape. But you expected that, right? Or, they could be used for the rear of a faux antique sprinter or midget. See what rusty rocket built using some 46-8 front fenders for the tail end of his single seat project. In some of the pix I stood them up to mock such a tail. I'm offering these up to anyone who wants them. Pick up in Columbia, Missouri. OR I'll be at several rod runs in the Midwest next summer and can deliver them at that time. If you want them shipped pm me and I'll consider it if you make all the arrangements and they can be shipped without crating or boxing.
