'46-'48 Ford drumbrake question

    Just wondering if the front drumbrakes from a '46-'48 Ford Truck are the same as the drums from a Ford passenger car. All I know is that they both measure 12".

    If you mean 46-47 1/2 ton truck, yes.

    That does mean both front and rear I hope. I am another of the guys collecting pieces for a project and I have a horse trade going to get the pickup brakes for my Model A front axle and V8 passenger rear. Someday when I dig it out I'll have to do the name that rear end game that is so poplar on here.
