Progress time! The running boards and tunnel are ready for paint. The front fenders are now strengthened where they meet the body. Finally, the end is near!

Cool! Its been a long time coming. Eric are you going to put the car back together soon or will that wait till Spring? I know it gets pretty cold up there.

 

Thank you OahuEli! The plan is to start putting the car back together during the winter months, provided that my heater can keep the temperature at a reasonable level in my garage!

At the risk of coining a phrase (and trademark infringement) "patiently waiting"

 

Running boards are now ready for paint.

 

Tunnel is now also ready for final sanding and paint!

 

The anticipation is killing me!

But the time spent prepping these parts will be worth it.

 

And I just hope that the end result will be worth all the hours that have gone into the project......I'm sure it will!

 

The firewall has been smoothed and painted once again. Getting closer to black paint by the day now!
