Not exactly a 41, but there is a member on here who stared out with the worlds rustiest 47 Fordor and he decided to convert it to a coupe. There might be some ideas in there for you in case you don't find anyone who has done a 41. He is doing a remarkable job on it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466490&highlight=47+ford+resurrection Don
I think the best way to change a sedan to a coupe is to find a coupe body. This green 41 ford startyed life as his grampa's 4 door sedan. My 48 started out as a business coupe. I moved the b-pillars back 8 1/2 inches and added sedan doors. going to look like my avater
^^^^ I share my sympathy for all the work involved in this conversion great use of a family members old sedan, I love it. This conversion isnt really feasible unless you live in a real rust belt area like where I am near the ocean...these coupes arent really pricey in places where you dont see much rust.I got really lucky and found the two perfect cars...actually calling the coupe a car is a bit to optomistic lol, when I sold off stuff I wasnt gonna use it was basically a free body shell I just had to glue it all together.
