409 Aluminum Block

    A good friend has one of the original LW motors (he may have a 2nd one, disassembled), i want to say it was in the 'Soft Seal' '62 bubbletop car. It is a hell'uva piece of work, the man that built it was not concerned about making money, a name for himself or anything other than creating an engine that he loved. I haven't met the man, i have met Bob on many occasions, and i don't think either one of them is in it for the money. They both genuenly love that engine.

    Love to put one in the 1964 Chevelle, standard BB pan would make it easier but headers might be a problem.:eek:
    Malcom Durham put one of the z-11s from his 1963 into a 1964 Chevelle called Strip Blazer II to run with Ford Thunderbolts.;) BB Chevys were not put into factory Chevelles untill 1965. (the 509 would be just fine):rolleyes:
