  1. hi guys, running a 401 Nailhead in my Model A and planning to fit up a 200-R4 Chev overdrive transmission, I have located several manufacturers of adaptors and was wondering if anyone has had any experience - either good or bad ?

I have an adapter from Bentdsens in Ham Lake, MN. Www.transmissionadapters.com

It is not the specific application you are looking for, mine is Straight Eight Buick to Chevy. Excellent quality components. Not "cheap", but quality seldom is.

  3. Bentdsens is the best. Used one on a desoto Hemi to 700r and worked perfect.

As Hnstray said. Bentdsens makes a quality product! I have one between a '66 425 and a 700R4. Absolutely no problems.

Good to know. Planning on putting a 700r4 behind a 425 in my Chevy.
