$400 for a new grille?...I don't think so

    The old one is in much worse shape than the photo shows.

    It will be painted.

    I like it. For the savings of $400, I think I love it! I am motivated by the same means.
    That is something I would notice. Great job!

    Nice work! If you want the stinless look I bet some stick on chrome molding would look good enough to fool most people!

  16. nice job! are the original bars all the same? on my '39 gmc [different grill] they are narrower at the top when viewed from the side. that must have added one more challenge to the project.
