I have searched the HAMB, however; I cannot locate any good pic's or diagrams for a '40 Willys Gasser P/U Frame.... Anyone have a few good pic's with some measurements, for a 40 Willys Gasser Frame ?

    Thx...

Candy man, I have a '39 Willys pickup frame. There are pictures in my album. I can get you whatever measurements you want. Here are the measurements from a another thread here on the HAMB. Let me know if I can help.

Here's a picture of a rolling chassis you can use with the above diagram.

Careful.....the '37-'40 frames are basically the same dimension wise. The '41-'42 frames are the same basic SHAPE/DESIGN, but TOTALLY different as far as dimensions, body mounting points, spring shackle pivot points. The sketch of the '41-'42 is spot on. Never seen one like it for the earlier frames....would be a nice addition to my reference library.

boogeracng : Sounds good. I understand the 41/42 is 2" longer than the 40 ?

porkshop : I'll post pic's of 40 P/U sheet metal, after I pick it up early next week...

1941/42 is not only longer wheelbase but also 2" wider from the front of the rear kickup to the end of the rear frame horns. The 1941/42 frame is very different from the 1940 with a completely different
X member and uses a totally different gas tank as well as a 2" wider rear axle....
