   Im running 12 volt on my stock gauges and need to know what temp sender is needed for my flathead. Do I need to run the gauge thru a volt reducer?

   Yes, you need to reduce the voltage going to the gauges. All three - temp, oil pressure, and fuel gauge. You will find a lot available in a parts search for "voltage reducer".
