40 ford pickup cabin

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by sergioperez78, Mar 17, 2012.

  1. Hi guys! Question:

Found a nice 1940 Ford pickup cabin and I was thinking if it could look like Notch 1935 Ford pickup? I know he chopped it 7" and sectioned it 6" plus the channeling. Do you know the wheelbase measure on this beauty?

    Thanks,

    Sergio

Don't even think about cutting that cab up! So, the short answer is no, it will not look like a 'Notch 1935 Ford' pickup.

I assume you are a very small man, normal sized people will not fit in a severely cut cab.

  6. Nope, can't be done. Impossible. You must change your plan.

Best thing is to do like i did, find an old truck that nobody wants and whack the piss out of it - make whatever you want. That '40 is a keeper like it is.

I agree with T.J., no slaughter on this nice cab. Those little trucks are so small ya gotta get out of it to change your mind. ~sololobo~

Sell that cab, and with the money you can buy 3 or 4 old International cabs and cut them all to hell.
