im very lucky to have this little coupe. its from Blain Tennessee, right next to the smoky mnts. a hot bed for running moonshine in the day. it was built in the late fifties and I even traced it's owner. he's dead now, in 2010, but he must have loved this car because it was stored for over 40 years in a barn. it has riquichea shots in the windshield and when you stand on the passenger side of the car in front, they are perfectly pointed at the driver ! it has a 1958 chevy 235 horse v-8, Lincoln zephyr 3 spd. trans, and 8 leaf springs in the back with dual shocks.. he put some moonshine money in this car because it had a nice tuck and roll interior, but over the years some varments got ot it. his wife is still alive but wont answer the phone when I call. all I can do is keep it alive for histories sake !!!
That's really cool ! When I was a young lad I had a good friend that used to haul moonshine thru Arkansas and Oklahoma. He used to tell me all the neat tricks they did to their cars to make them run and handle. He loved flatheads and y-blocks till he died 20 some years ago.
