Technical 40 Ford / Caddy wheel covers?

Got curious, but didn't turn up anything.
Anybody have a pic of 57 Caddy wheel covers on either a 40 Ford coupe, sedan or pickup?
Or is that a hotrod vs custom faux pas?

Hey Bill. Did a little interweb searching and could only come up with '40s with earlier sombreros on them. Did find a '41 with '57 caps.

 

I have a full set of nice 53 Sombreros , not easy to mount unless you have 53 Cad wheels

 

If you like them use them. Hubcaps are about the easiest thing to change if you get tired of it.
