Here is a few pictures of my '40 Ford Pick-up. If anyone is interested, I would like to see it go to a good home. I hate to see it go, but times are a little tough for me right now and I have to let go.

Here is mine. Now it's all torn down and ready for a frame up build. I will do a build thread when I have made some progress

  9. "The ultimate 40 Ford Pickem up"..everyone is entitled to their opinion, but in "my opinion", that one misses the mark, because of the Chev AD rear fenders. Very nice other than that. A major attraction for me of a "40-"41 Ford P/U, is the nice flowing lines, all the way out to the rear bumpers, and a major part of that is the design of the stock rear fenders.

Yup! This one inspired me to put a '56 F-100 bed and '52 Chevy truck fenders on my '40 Ford Pick Up.

psssst... I've heard rumors that Joe's old truck may be hidden in a garage somewhere in Costa Mesa.

AAARRGGHHH! I just love these trucks! I had a '41 in High school thirty years ago right now. That was in St. Paul, Minnesota. I sold that truck in late eighty one, and thought nothing more of it. Five years ago I drove to Tucson and bought a '42 that had come from southern Minnesota. Some thing looked so familiar about it but I couldn't put my finger on it... Flipping through my mom's family albums, there was the answer: it had the spare set of doors from my old '41! Don't think I want to know where my '41 is...
On a side note, I have been watching and waiting for the right time to strike to buy another '41 here locally for quite awhile now. Went to look the other day and it's gone. A day late and several dollars short again!

Bought this one before the recession for $3,500. Traded it a few years later for a "40 Tudor DeLuxe. Saw it a year later at the same swap meet, asking price was $1,500

This is the lot I got my '41 from. sadly all that's left is one '40 Ford cab. The pea green '40 in the fore ground is the ol' guys ONLY means of transportation.

  21. Keep em coming. I just got a mid 40s truck with no front clip for $200. Plan to put a '40-'41 nose on it.
