I just walked over to the Walter P Chrysler boyhood home and they will be open. Admission is $4.00 adult and over 65 is $3.00 It is less than one block from the shop so anyone that wants to could take a quick tour of the home and museum.

My plan is to hang the go pro camera in the rear window & capture the trip that way, plus the big camera for the occasional shot when I'm not driving:)

I hated not being there. Having a job sure gets in the way of my kool. One of these
    days I'll be like Jack.

Not too many pics from me as I was lucky enough to get the charge of taking my two nephews along for the ride in the Galaxie. I knew that Povertyflats & Neal would be shooting pics anyways.

This is my Galaxie waiting for me to get off work Saturday morning.

The next shot is at Big Creek Restoration in Ellis, KS. Some great vintage equipment was in the shop including this old drum lathe.

BCR had a bunch of nice rides in various states of build in the shop.
My nephews and I agreed this was our favorite.

This 34 was looking good too!

Back in Salina Louise & Harry's cool kustom Chevy in front of the Paramount Bar.

And my Galaxie at the end of the day.

Travis, this still works great and I have all the attachments for it. I turn the inside lip off of my 45 fin Buicks with it.
The whole mechanism turns and the drum is stationary. I should have fired it up for you guys, it looks scary in action!!! Maybe next time.

I guess better late than never, but it's our turn to say thanks to everyone involved with this run. It's always good to get away from the old grind and I really needed this one. Had a great time , BCR's shop and projects are outstanding, and the food at both meals was great. Couldn't ask for a better weekend away. Thanks again,........Harry & Louise.
