That `37 looked like a decent start. Did you keep the rear fenders?

  11. Honestly Larry, when I saw the thread, I thought you had taken the plunge and picked up a '32 sedan delivery... but the Husky looks like it'll be alot of fun :)!

I used to see one at the Antique Nationals that had been converted to wicked v8 power (I can't for the life of me remember what) But it was set so far back he sat in the back seat. It was crazy to watch run, It had a lot of hop to it.

Only you would have the nerve to show up here with something like that. And "that's a very good thing" in my best Martha Stewart voice. If you don't stuff some sort of blown big block in there you automatically become "no balls Larry":cool::D

  23. Cool..my ex,bro-in-law and I rolled one of those in some years back. I kinda like rodding small European cars so I went out and bought a 57 Lloyd Alexander 2 door sedan. Plan switches back and forth between using a turbo'd Hyabusa or a more traditional 301 chevy..[76 inch wheelbase]
Photo of my brother's 61 Morris minor [86 inch wheelbase] we built in the 80s...406 SBC, 'glide and a narrowed 8.75" mopar rear. Runs 10.30s and gets street driven.

This weapon was doing the rounds in Britain about 20 years ago...
Rolling stock was (I think?) RX7 at the front & Alfa-Romeo spyder at the rear.
Power by the fantastic Ford-Cosworth YB turbo 4-banger!

The styling by have aged like a fine milk, but the engineering was superb!

Put some seats like that in a 36 Ford slant back. That was in 65. Don't think I've seen a Hilman wagon since.
