hush up you...
My first car was one of those. Put a lot of miles on it. I like em!
Larry; go for broke-be different;
How bout a mid engined BBC?
Or paint it black, put curtains in the side windows and call it a hearse for midgets.
Kevin do u remember a yellow husky drag car maybe late 70s run tens and a hot 327 in it? Les Hamilton now has it in taupe and is restoring it back to original brought it off a guy from the naki
No, can't remember that one.
I will try find pics
you are a sick man Larry
... only if he becomes "BackdoorLarry" ...
That `37 looked like a decent start. Did you keep the rear fenders?
no, he got it all.
Honestly Larry, when I saw the thread, I thought you had taken the plunge and picked up a '32 sedan delivery... but the Husky looks like it'll be alot of fun !
I love the name 3 lug larry, Man that's you.
Better be careful if the front door latches cease to function they'll be calling you back door larry.
That looks like it could be fun in a wicked sort of a way.
That thing is different. I want one.
I used to see one at the Antique Nationals that had been converted to wicked v8 power (I can't for the life of me remember what) But it was set so far back he sat in the back seat. It was crazy to watch run, It had a lot of hop to it.
A Chrysler 392 will fit right in there.
Insanity is just a small step to a higher thinking.
insanity is measured by success...
I´d like to see this get the 3WLarry treatment.
Pretty cool little beastie, I'd fix that rust and cruise it.
Only you would have the nerve to show up here with something like that. And "that's a very good thing" in my best Martha Stewart voice. If you don't stuff some sort of blown big block in there you automatically become "no balls Larry"
Cool..my ex,bro-in-law and I rolled one of those in some years back. I kinda like rodding small European cars so I went out and bought a 57 Lloyd Alexander 2 door sedan. Plan switches back and forth between using a turbo'd Hyabusa or a more traditional 301 chevy..[76 inch wheelbase]
Photo of my brother's 61 Morris minor [86 inch wheelbase] we built in the 80s...406 SBC, 'glide and a narrowed 8.75" mopar rear. Runs 10.30s and gets street driven.
forshame ....forshame . You got it going on though.
the only car i was ever afraid to drive or ride in was one like this one larry, it was a built up sbc and 4 speed. that thing went any direction it wanted to when it left the line. my buddy who built that damn car was a pro. he never could get it to go staright..lol or it was because we both shook so bad at the wheel WE couldnt go straight...lol but it was FAST and scary...
This weapon was doing the rounds in Britain about 20 years ago...
Rolling stock was (I think?) RX7 at the front & Alfa-Romeo spyder at the rear.
Power by the fantastic Ford-Cosworth YB turbo 4-banger!
The styling by have aged like a fine milk, but the engineering was superb!
couple more for ya,
if it were mind I think something like this'd be cool
Put some seats like that in a 36 Ford slant back. That was in 65. Don't think I've seen a Hilman wagon since.
