My '64 engine that was originally an automatic has one.

  3. To the best of my knowledge,Oldsmobile stopped drilling the cranks for pilot bearings in late 56 or early 57 when they switched from the Dual Range Hydramatic to the Jetaway.

the "easy" solution for this is to have the crank drilled for a chevy style pilot bushing while you have the engine torn down for balancing.
trust me,you WANT to balance everything, including the flywheel and pressure plate.
