392 hemi intake

    Just curious if anybody ever made an aftermarket 4bbl intake back in the days for the early hemi. I'm aware of hot heads intake today.

  3. great site, I am not a Hemi guy (hence my name) but that article is great, could be applied to most builds, great detail

    Short answer is no. The oem intake is such a good dual-plane design that there was little room for improvement. The aluminum part does save 20lbs if that is important.
    If you are using an iron manifold you can benefit greatly from simply enlarging/matching the throttle bores to a Holley base gasket.
