Has anybody used the East Coast Auto BBC mini alternator mount on a 392 Hemi?

I haven’t but I’ll bump up. Never heard of it.

No, but Hemi Hotheads offers 392 brackets on their website.

  4. I mounted a Suzuki Samurai (Nippondenso) alternator low on the driver's side on my 354. I made the bracket.

Thanks for the info. I have a hotheads bracket I’m building on 30 model A coupe with pinched 32 rails. The hotheads bracket is hitting the frame rail on the passenger side. I’m running a Vega cross steer set up so the driver side is out.

Please don't use that Hot Heads alternator mount that puts it right up front and high!
I know, a lot of people do it but:eek:.
A friend of mine put a 354 in his 57 BelAir and used the HH mount, it looked terrible.

  7. My 32 rails are pinched and I'm running Vega cross steer. That's what I had to make the bracket. it's definitely tight, but it works. You can kind of see the steering box directly below the motor mount.
