39 front clip same as 40/41 pickup?

Is the front clip (fenders/hood) the same on a 39 deluxe as the 40/41 pickups? If not, what are the differences? I've been offered a 39 coupe without the front clip and I have a 41 pickup front clip. I believe they will work, but not sure.

 

I have a friend who has moved fenders from one to the other. He says they are diffrent, but its extremely hard to tell the diffrence. The hood, however, will not work.

 

close/different yes but do-able....I seem to remember a small peice that bolts in between the fender and cowl at rear....
