If you "but it " or decide to buy it, I'll take your 39 merc off your hands. I dont want to see you have tooo many projects.

Man, you find all kinds of good stuff! Do you use a bloodhound that tracks the smell of old 30wt. and rust?

No bloodhound...just alot of asking around about old junk.Found this because I asked a friend if he knew of any early 30's Chevy trucks. He gave me directions to see a 33 Chevy truck and this 39 Ford was on the same property.Dumb luck???

It's amazing that cool RARE stuff like this is still laying around undiscovered. It should give us all hope of a good find.

  14. Good eye, mazdaslam. I love dumb luck. I like to use it when I can, ha. Hope you get it, man.

You guys really bug me finding all of this cool old iron..:) I've run every back road, asked everybody that I meet about old cars sitting around and come up stone cold. As of now, I know where there is a '40 Chevy Tudor with the remains of a '59 Ford to keep it company in a farmer's field. I've been trying for the Chevy since I was in 8th grade. They've been there since HS in the '60s, the original owner is long dead, but his son who I went to school with STILL says no!

Guess I need to look even harder or steal it...

You better look again. I can see a cutoff door post and window body trim shape on the top of body. I think this a cut off coupe.
