Yeah a bloke said he had a 38 coupe i could have so i said yes before i looked then i found a sedan with no roof or doors
Then put the two together
perfect! just stitch the a pillars together and you're half way there
Keep the pics coming. This could make you the ultimate bodyman.

A bloke gave me 4 mudguards or fenders and that gave me most of a car ,sortof.
I made the lower sections from 2ml sheet cut with jig saw and welded together
Okay heres the pic all joined together
Nice challenge, is this how it looks now or is it already finished?
damm dude! it really is great to know how many blokes out there will bring things like this back to life. subscribed!
Its not finished, ive been building it for a bit over 2 years
Then i decided to cut the rusty bits off
In the back ground you can see my wheeling machine with a lot of dust on it ,thats because ive never used it .So i bought some Ron Covell dvds and thought i would have a go.
Made the rear pan and lip around bootlid
Wow you aren't one to back away from a challenge. Great work so far. What are your plans for the drivetrain?
Made up some side panels and used 1/4 windows from a 39 sedan ,the sides are the second attempt
Using the sedan 1/4s also canted the B pillar foward to give a nicer look.also made some inner guards, the swage lines are formed using my wheeling machine which has a gear box attached similar to a swaging machine
Is this a standard ?. Lot's of ambition.
Im using standard front guards and delux bonnet grill and sides and i have to blend the two together
Wonderful save brother, you are one of the brave souls that has the balls to go for it and make lemonade out of a lemon. This is one of my fave rides, I had a 38 standard tu-door that I loved. It was my first v/8 after my 33 Chevy six. Good going bro. ~sololobo~
Looking real nice. The sedan windows & B pillars are setting up a bitchin' look.
Next job was the fire wall
