38 chevy suicide door

I am kicking around the ides of doing suicide doors on my 38 Chevy 2 door sedan. Has anyone done it and how hard was it.

 

Speedway makes a universal kit for doing suicide doors.
If you are doing a hidden hinge style, the main thing to watch out for is hinge pin placement. What I mean is try to keep the hinge pin location as close to the inner body panel as possible otherwise when you open your doors they will open into, and crease the outside body panels. The other thing to watch out for is keeping the hinge pins alligned with each other, otherwise they will fight each other when you open, or close the doors. Not a pretty site

 

not worth it ,theres a reason why they call them suicide doors
