37 pickup .....just finished

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by **MCQUEEN**, Oct 16, 2007.

  1. Well, not completely finished. Since I wasn't going to get my 34 done this year, and had the cab setting here chopped & most of the other major components already, I decided to put it together. Started on it the 1st of July, got it done 2 days before the Pileup, it's first outing.

I'm going to finish the bodywork and paint it.

Here's the link to the whole album :)

You should paint the hookers back on the doors.

But seriously, that looks good. The proportions are just right. Maybe toss a little green or blue into that DP90, there are plenty of flat black pickups running around.

Isn't it amazing that the closer these things look to Rudy's origional concept the better they look?

Let me know if anyone calls that a "rat rod". I'll punch 'em right in the goddamn mouth!

That is a well engineered ride that deserves to be finished. I enjoyed your pictures. There's a lot to learn by studying them. I also appreciated you getting the young ones involved.

You gotta see it in person to really appreciate all the trick fab work on it. Well done. Now you need to go to Quincy with us this weekend and piss off all the gold chainers.

That thing is killer. Very nice job. I checked the whole alblum. I will be using it as reference at some point in the future

  24. You recognize those doors don't ya ? The main cab was nice & rust free, but the doors were junk. I probably wouldn't have built it if I hadn't gotten those doors from you a couple years ago. They made the deal. Thanks Max. :)
