I guess the bullet holes make sense when you see what's written on the passenger door.:( I don't know why people do things like this? I'd say something about the "gun culture", but I know politics are a no-no on this board.:D

Well, remember that for probably 50 years it was just an old hulk out in the sage brush that went "ping" every time someone took a pot shot at it and I'd imagine that was a great number of people over that period of time.

The sage brush out in the hills around here used to be full of bodies with holes in them just like that. I think a lot of those same bodies are down at my neighbors place rusting away now.

I'd still drag that body home right now and start taking bullet holes out one at a time though and it would be a great home for one or the other of the flatheads in my garage.

I'd buy it and use it a lawn art !

The fenders, garnish, dash, etc is worth a few bucks. The car can certainly be fixed compared to the rusted crap we have here !

I was thinking "Moving Target" might be appropriate . . .

Just heard from the owner - I'll update everyone soon. The news was quite favorable . ..

Cool, speedy! Sounds like you'll be posting a build-thread before long. We'll all be able to say, "I remember that car when." Talk about before and after pics! LOL.

Lets see . . . I already have a good frame that would work, a 324 Olds long block, or a decent 8BA and a 3 spd OD column shift trans, plus an open drive banjo and a '40 front axle, spring, F100 brakes, wheels . . . shit I could mock this thing up next week! Oh yeah . . . there is the issue of a little body work to be done!

You could just leave the Holes in and not put air in it or lie and say it was Bonnie and Clydes real Death car! Somebody went completely nuts on that car...hey its cool anyway and can be built...or just buff it out and leave it like it is!
