ok, guys i took some more pics of the drivers side with out the exhaust manifold on and then installed. the steering box is 1/2" most from one of the exhaust nipples on top which i think i could grind off. the big problem is that the exhaust manifold bottoms out on the cross member now with maybe hair clearance so it don't touch. these are the exhaust manifolds that came with the 351c out of an early torino. so if i put in different mounts it will definitely not work without hitting cross member unless i can get the mount further back to give me clearance on exhaust manifold from cross member. i hope i am not confusing the hell out of you guys. thanks

It looks like there's plenty of room for shorty headers or long tubes.
That is if you cant find the right exhaust manifold.

Why not sandwich a plate between the mount and the engine block and raise the engine up.

I would set the motor back about and inch.

You definitely don't want that manifold hitting the crossmember, it will make one hell of a racket.
