I know it should be pretty simple and they should just clip on over the hinge. But once its clipped on the door wont shut .Any body have a picture on how it goes does it 1 or 2 ? Thanks

The spring clips are not used on pickups only cars, there is a catch in the top of the opening of the dash that holds the door shut.

  3. I was gonna say, I don't even have them in my '35 truck...

  4. '38 and '39 trucks use the spring clip over the hinge, as the glove box door is the same as '37 Standard car.

There are 2 small holes on the top side where it appears something would go but macs and sac vintage claim that the 35 -36 pickup take a single clip although there are two styles .

On my 35 there is a single spring steel catch in the top center of the dash which catches the door when its closed......I would take a picture but its black and wont show up.

I had a 33-34 passenger car latch repair kit ,took the spring clip and installed it with one screw on the top side center and worked fine
    Thanks guys
