I am looking for some help with mounting a set of 35 ford wires on a 9" ford rear using 10" late model drum brakes. Also gm disc brakes on the front. I know I will need a wheel adapters for the front and some spacers for the rear, but what thickness? Has anyone had any experience with this? Bad idea?

I will check later when I am at home and get some time in the shop, but I would expect the 35 wires to bolt straight on to the 9 inch diff if you are using the F100 stud pattern as for the fronts well kinda depends on the caliper off set and the stud pattern.

I got my wheel stud center flanges machined out and later model Ford centers welded back in that way I could have a say over the off set and the stud pattern I wanted.

The attached pic which is not so clear is of the smaller wheel that has had a new center flange welded in and spaced out to clear my caliper.
It is just what I happend to have in my computer right now.
If the rears dont fit then space or use the same method as the fronts.

    I hope it helps.

I think Rally America is making special adapters now for wires to modern hubs/drums.....I think I saw in the new R&C....

I bought my spacers from a local tire shop... had them on the self and they were 25 bucks a piece.

Wheelkid can I get one set for 1/2" studs? My fronts are 7/16" but my rear is a currie 9" with 1/2" studs.
