The updates just keep getting better and better. The taillight is '48 to '50 Hudson. They look great on the car.

So.....I like sleeping in cold dusty shops, loud noises and no food.

    How bout an internship? haha
This thing is pure fuckin beautiful. I think the length of it makes it flow a lot better than if you would have left it. Gorgeous man, gorgeous.

I may add as well, that my buddy just asked me...."Okay, I know it's a 3 window ford.....but what the hell is done to it?? It's not normal."

So I think you reached your goal ;)

No updates for now, I was scrambling to get a car ready for a customer to go to the hot rod reunion. I'm gonna work on the 35 this coming week, so maybe an update by the end of next week.

As promissed here come the update
first of the lower body molding modified to match those Plym' fenders and provide mounting points.
Then I moved the molding from the door to a new rocker panel that closes that ugly gap found between the doors and the running boards.
And you can see how the door opens to clear the fender
    [IMG]
The last mod done for now is the headlight
    [IMG]
They are Chevy truck but came off of a Packard, figures... So I molded one for now. And cut down a hood side to get a better idea of how everything fit together. You can also see the extended downward 1/4 panel.
I just love the Westergard style.
That last picture is the modified White Grille (to make it look kinda like a Packard, but different)
I really like the way the grille match the louvers on the sides and how it is massive.
Now that the left side is almost done I'm gona have to do the right side the same way.

  21. Thanks Chris. Man it's looking good. One of my favorite builds on the HAMB.

I really dig the massive grille and you're right, it goes well with the big louvres on the hood sides...almost like it was planned that way!

just tried an idea on the apple monitor screen. With two piece of papers I "narrowed" the grill a little, just 3 bars on each side. Wanna try? What do you think ?
I love watching your build. The car gets better every time !
dig the wheels, they´re killer !

The customer saw the completed side today for the first time, he really loves it and he really loves the grill as is, as did a lot of people. As for the wheel, it was just a set up (thanks Bobby) and nothing is decided yet. Personnally I love military wheels but I don't know what his final decision will be.
