Been looking at the hot rod pickup thread and so I decided to post my favorite body style of all time. The 35-36 pickup. I'm looking for pics of full fendered, traditional hot rod pickups. Here's a few pics of guys that got it right.

Love those 35-36 pickups--Roseville Carl on here has a nice one too.

Don't let the cute look fool you , it's got a snarly 286 flathead under the hood. IMG_0428.JPG

This gets me fired up, I have most of one sitting on a friends farm, a 53 Merc flathead that needs rebuilding, and a bunch of time, now, if I could get off my ass.

  24. Been thinking about selling my A pickup and upgrading to a 32-36 ford. This thread is good timing. I'm leaning towards a 35-36.

You should, the only thing Henry should have done was lowered the lid 2".

I don't know if any one noticed that my 36 has a 35 cab, notice the difference on the A pillars , the 35 ends rather sharply at the cowl and the 36 blends into the cowl more smoothly. My truck came from the factory this way [ 3 owners] The reason being, my truck has a very early production number , and it looks like the shrewd old Henry used leftover 35 cabs on the very early runs.
