    this is interesting..never heard about this before. I always was under the impression that Ford used Lacquer..always told everyone it was the old lacquer that is to blame for the spider cracking.

  21. My early '35 coupe has the narrow header panel.

    Just look where the upper tack strip is and you will be able to determine which panel fits your coupe.

    30 years of messing with cars but have never seen one "de-primed". that is awesome!

    There's nothing like original paint, so many cars were over restored over the last 3 years and very few Relic survivors are left. I've been lucky enough to find 32 and a 36 original paint cars, and I'd never dream of re-painting them.

    too cool! Nice job on saving the paint- bought an original paint car once that had been primered and I wiped the primer off with rags and lacquer thinner.
