341 hemi/aluminum Torqueflite bolt pattern

    A friend of mine has a 57 DeSoto 341 he's rebuilding and I have an aluminum Torqueflite off a 361 Chrysler that works well-will it bolt to the 341? If so, any issues with flex plate or torque converter clearance? It's going back into the 57 DeSoto, so there should be lots of room to work with. Thanks, Rob

    No! does not bolt-up. You will need: Adapter package, 8-bolt flexplate (ala 426H), a small block trans and converter.
    Along, long time ago, B&M made an adapter for the big block trans, but you are not likely to find a complete package. In reality, they are good for wall decorations....

    TR Waters made my adaptor... as does Wilcap.
