34 trans mount

Just did clutch and ujoint om my 34 pickup with 59ab and 34 trans. Question, does the trans sit directly on the mount metal to metal or does it sit on a rubber mount? Thanks, Mark

 

No, the trans mount is rubber mounted.The rubber is round and sandwiched between trans and mount.(Rough discribtion).
Usually there is a lot of dirt and grease so you have to scrape that away to see it.
