Technical 34 Ford rear spreader bar tube diameter

    Hi. I gotta buy some tubing to fab up a spreader bar and as I don't have anything that looks to be an appropriate size in the old scrap pile I figured I'd buy the correct size. If someone could measure the correct outside diameter for me I'd appreciate it. Thanks

    Mine was a chunk of 1 3/4 roll cage tubing slightly bent to match the contour of the rear panel. Most likely worthless if I ever got tagged, but slightly better than nothing.

  8. Me? I'd root through my stock rack and use a piece of solid 304 stainless steel rod. Strong and the weight is a plus on a light in the ass ride.
